Delete your Byter account
Users can request permanent account and data deletion at any time. Use the in-app path when available or email support for manual processing.
In-App Deletion (Preferred)
- Open Byter and go to Profile > Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm the request and complete any verification checks.
If in-app access is unavailable, use the email fallback steps below.
Email Fallback Request
- Email mani.byter@gmail.com with subject
Deletion Request. - Include your account email and user ID (if available).
- State that you want permanent account and personal data deletion.
- Complete any verification steps we request to protect against unauthorized deletion.
What Gets Deleted
- Profile details and authentication-linked account metadata.
- Learning history, progress records, and duel history tied to your account.
- Support records unless legally required for security or dispute resolution.
Timeline
- Acknowledgment target: within 24-72 hours.
- Verified deletion queue target: within 7 days.
- Removal from active systems target: within 30 days.
Some backup artifacts may persist until normal rotation completes.
