Byter Terms of Service
Last updated: February 18, 2026. These terms govern access to the Byter app and website.
1) Acceptance of Terms
By using Byter, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the service.
2) Eligibility and Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for account security and activity under your credentials.
- You must notify Byter promptly if unauthorized account access is suspected.
3) Acceptable Use
- Use Byter only for lawful personal or internal educational use.
- Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, scrape, overload, or abuse service infrastructure.
- Do not upload malicious content or content that infringes rights of others.
- Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, feature gates, or security controls.
4) Subscriptions and Billing
- Paid plans are sold through Apple In-App Purchase and billed through your Apple ID.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before period end.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
- Refunds for Apple-billed purchases are handled by Apple.

5) AI Features and Output
Byter includes AI-assisted generation and feedback features. AI outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before use in production or high-stakes contexts.
You remain responsible for code and decisions you make based on AI-generated content.
6) User Content and License
You retain rights to your submitted content. By submitting content through Byter, you grant a limited license to host, process, and display it as necessary to operate and improve the service.
7) Intellectual Property
Byter software, branding, and service materials are owned by Byter (operated by Mani Bondari) or its licensors and are protected by law. No ownership rights are transferred to users.
8) Suspension and Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated for policy violations, security risks, legal compliance, or service integrity reasons. Users may stop using Byter at any time.
9) Disclaimer of Warranties
Byter is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or guaranteed outcomes.
10) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Byter (operated by Mani Bondari) is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss or business interruption.
11) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Byter (operated by Mani Bondari) from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms.
12) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
13) Changes to Terms
Terms may be updated over time. Updated versions are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the revised Terms.
